Preorder Written in the Wind, an upcoming anthology from Worldsmyths on the theme of names. Written in the Wind is a book dedicated to stories about identity and finding your personal truth. Names hold power, they are the first thing we are given in the world, and are often the first thing we give to a stranger. But what are we giving away with our name? Fantasy is the perfect vehicle for this short story anthology. It is through the lens of the fantastical that we can reflect back on our lived reality, and these stories explore that. What do we reflect onto the world with our name? How does a name shape a person? If you name something, do you own it? Featuring 10 stories (with stretch goals for more!) from up and coming fantasy authors, you are sure to find a new favorite in these fresh tales. Our authors are international, and their unique perspectives on fantasy are sure to delight. Worldsmyths is a woman-led non-profit based out of Canada with the goal to help nurture the talent of rising authors and to provide them with the tools to tackle the world of publishing. These anthologies are our way of giving them a risk-free, supportive taste of the publishing world. By supporting this anthology, you are giving a writer the means to make money with their art, and you are spreading tales from new, unheard voices.

We crossed the finish line! We ended with 121% of our $700 goal, which means we are able to afford professional editing and author pay for about 13 stories. But this isn't the end!

We will be launching a Backerkit campaign at the end of March. Backerkit is an addon to Indiegogo that allows us to continue to raise money towards our goals and also allows us to operate a pre-order store. Any purchases made through the Backerkit, like the Indiegogo, will be available before the general release to the public, meaning that you will get this anthology first.

It is the last day of fundraising and we are currently at 121% of our goal! Thank you so much to our generous donors, thanks to you we will be able to afford professional editing for at least 10 stories.

We didn't reach our stretch goals, but there will be a second chance! We will be launching a Backerkit pre-order store to allow people to purchase this anthology and receive it a month before it is released to the general public. Watch this space for the link!
